We are a community of La Marzocco owners and coffee enthusiasts in the United States and around the world who are united by our love of your machines and our commitment to quality coffee. Many of us are proud owners of the Linea Micra, GS3, and other La Marzocco models.

For us, La Marzocco represents heritage, craftsmanship, and a passion for excellence. It is precisely because we value these machines so highly that we also want them to integrate seamlessly into our daily lives.

Over the past several years, an active community of more than 1,000 users in the U.S. alone has integrated La Marzocco machines with Home Assistant and other smart home platforms. These integrations have:

Enabled customized brewing profiles for different beans and drinks (brew temperature, pre-infusion, etc.).
Allowed simple and direct controls such as a one-button on/off feature.
Brought the Micra and other machines into broader smart home workflows that make coffee preparation both easier and more enjoyable.
These tools have not replaced the La Marzocco App — they have enhanced it, deepened our appreciation for the machines, and increased our loyalty to the brand.

We understand from recent communications that La Marzocco has never officially provided a public API and that recent updates have disrupted community-built integrations. However, closing off all third-party access without an alternative deprives dedicated customers of a key part of their daily workflow and risks alienating a loyal, vocal, and growing segment of your customer base.

Our request is simple:

Please keep existing third-party API access open until an official, documented, and supported solution is provided.
Please consider creating a roadmap toward an official API, even if access is gated, licensed, or limited to advanced users.
By supporting open integration, La Marzocco would be demonstrating trust in its most dedicated customers and fostering an ecosystem that strengthens the brand rather than weakens it.
