Keep JetRide in West Palm Beach – Protect Local Boating Access!

The Issue

Since 2017, JetRide has been a beloved part of the West Palm Beach waterfront—helping thousands of local families, veterans, young professionals, and visitors create lifelong memories out on the water. This is why we won the 2025 Best Boat in Palm Beach County, as voted by members of the public.

But now, the City of West Palm Beach is trying to shut down JetRide’s flagship location.

This decision threatens:

  • Thousands of local members, families, and friends who rely on JetRide for safe, sustainable, and affordable access to boating.
  • The jobs of the over 25 JetRide employees who work hard to get our members out on the water in safe, clean, reliable vessels.
  • Your right to access our shared waterways without needing to own a boat.

We believe this is not just a bad decision—it’s a short-sighted one that will negatively affect residents, businesses, and the entire waterfront community.

JetRide provides:
✔ Eco-friendly and safety-certified vessels.
✔ Family-friendly and affordable alternatives to boat ownership.
✔ Best-in-class member training and safety protocols.
✔ Year-round access to Peanut Island, Lake Worth Lagoon, and more.

The city’s attempt to evict JetRide doesn’t just hurt a local business—it strips away access and opportunity from the very residents who make this city vibrant.

This is about giving everybody the ability to go boating, not just the fortunate few...

We call on the West Palm Beach Mayor and City Commissioners to:

  • Restore JetRide to its current location.
  • Respect the voices of local voters, taxpayers, and small business supporters.
  • Commit to preserving accessible, responsible boating for all.

Sign the petition today and stand up for community access to the water. Let’s keep JetRide in West Palm Beach—where it belongs.
