On Friday, 11 March 2022, e.tv announced they would be dropping "Days of Our Lives" from their schedule from 11 April 2022.

Days of Our Lives is watched by thousands of viewers daily and the removal of the soapie would do a massive injustice to those who followed the series for over 40 years.

There are many shows that are repeated on a daily basis and removing these repeats would allow e.tv to make room for their "new" content and to keep Days of Our Lives on their afternoon schedule.
