Keep Credit Card Rewards Programs

The Issue

Congress is set to vote on a bill which would eliminate popular credit card rewards programs like cash back and travel points. The legislation would allow big retailers to pocket the money they currently pay credit card companies, with no benefit to consumers. Retailers are unlikely to pass along savings to customers, which would provide no "trickle-down" to consumers' pockets. We urge Congress to reject the Durbin Marshall Interchange Bill and keep their hands off our rewards.
