It is bad enough that popular music has had the sound compressed on CDs for decades. There is quite simply no excuse for compressing the sound of Classical Music recordings. A beloved recording like this should not have the Dynamic Range compressed out of it! This is NOT at all what Culshaw and Solti would want in this famed recording. We as fans of this legendary recording are not at all happy with this development. We will ban buying this recording if it is compressed!
