In Hickory Flat, there is a huge amount of fast food clustered into one intersection. Ever since Chick-fil-A entered the mix in 2019, one thing has set them apart (besides “My Pleasure”): their indoor playground. Parents from all around flock to this particular location because of the place for their children to play and entertain themselves while parents can enjoy their meals in (relative) peace. Now, Chick-fil-A plans to remove this playground from their restaurant in order to promote better drive thru service. This benefits many people, but also greatly saddens the children and parents of children of Hickory Flat. the renovations are due to start within the month, so the time to make our voices heard is now! 
I ask that this decision be reconsidered for the benefit of the younger members of our community. It provides children with the chance to play and connect no matter the weather and is a valuable addition to our community. Thank you!
