Keep Brooklyn at Highland Park High School, Not Green Hill

The Issue

Brooklyn is not just a student; she's a beacon of positivity, an exceptional volleyball player, and my best friend. Her presence at Highland Park High School has been invaluable to me and many others. We believe that her transfer to Green Hill would be detrimental to both her personal growth and the vibrancy of our school community.

Highland Park High School has consistently ranked among the top high schools in Texas for its academic excellence and sports programs (Texas Schools Guide). As part of this community, Brooklyn has thrived both academically and athletically. She is an integral part of our school's volleyball team which ranks among the top 10% in the state (MaxPreps).

Brooklyn’s departure would not only impact her friends but also disrupt the dynamic balance of our successful volleyball team. Moreover, studies have shown that changing schools can negatively affect a student's academic performance and emotional well-being (American Psychological Association).

We understand that decisions like these are complex but we urge you to consider the profound impact this move could have on Brooklyn as well as on Highland Park High School. Please support us in keeping Brooklyn where she belongs - at Highland Park High School! Sign this petition today!
