Petition to Reinstate 24-Hour Access to the Basketball Court at 24 Hour Fitness

We, the undersigned members of 24 Hour Fitness, respectfully request the reinstatement of full 24-hour access to the basketball court at our gym. As paying members of a facility that advertises itself as open 24/7, we believe it is unjust to restrict access to the basketball court during late-night hours.

For many of us, the ability to play basketball late at night is essential due to our work schedules and personal commitments. The recent policy change—first closing the court at 10PM, then 9PM—has severely impacted our ability to utilize the gym services we pay for. This restriction limits our access to a key facility that is meant to be available at all hours.

While we understand that concerns such as trash, misplaced equipment, or unauthorized access through the emergency exit have been mentioned informally as reasons for the closure, we believe these issues can be addressed without removing access for responsible members. Rather than a blanket restriction, alternative solutions could include increased staff monitoring, clear enforcement of rules, or security measures that target specific problems rather than penalizing all members.

We ask that management reconsider this decision and restore 24-hour access to the basketball court, allowing us to enjoy the facilities as intended and as advertised.
