Keep BakkesMod usable in Rocket League post-EAC update

The Issue

BakkesMod has been the beating heart of the Rocket League community for years. For millions of players, from complete beginners taking their first shots to seasoned pros chasing the highest ranks, it has been the essential training tool that helped us all grow, improve, and fall even more in love with the game.

Its custom training packs, in-depth statistics, enhanced user interface options, and countless plugins have transformed how we practice, analyze our gameplay, and push our skills to the next level. BakkesMod was never about cheating or gaining unfair advantages in online matches. It has always been purely for personal skill development and offline training.

Yet starting in April 2026 with the Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) update for Season 22, Psyonix will block BakkesMod and other mods from functioning during online play. This means the tool that so many of us rely on daily for meaningful practice will be locked to offline use only, stripping away a vital part of our training routine.

This change hits everyone hard: new players just learning mechanics, casual players enjoying the game for fun, and competitive players grinding to climb the ranks. Removing access to these trusted training tools feels like losing a trusted coach that helped shape our journeys in Rocket League.

The numbers speak for themselves. The popular IngameRank plugin alone has over 2.34 million downloads, showing just how deeply the community depends on BakkesMod for growth and enjoyment.

Other games have successfully whitelisted safe training mods while keeping their anti-cheat systems strong and effective. We respectfully urge Psyonix to explore a similar balanced solution: whitelist BakkesMod for safe use, or expand official in-game training features to match what the community has come to rely on.

Please don’t let this update take away the tools that made us better.
