On November 14th, Optimum is planning on removing the automatic strolling channel guide channels that are available on channels 99 and 100. Those channels will then no longer be available.

This would affect Optimum TV customers who can only rely on those channels such as seniors, disabled people, etc. Also places such as schools, hotels, hospitals, assisted living places, etc where they are not required to use a cable box can only tune to the channel guide channel to find upcoming programming. 

Example: I was in a hospital with Optimum TV service back towards the end of May and the Optimum Channel Guide Channel was the only way I could find upcoming programming to watch since they do not use cable boxes for their TV service.

Please give optimum/altice a call at 1-516-803-2300 "BEFORE" November and tell them to keep the automatic strolling Optimum Channel Guide Channel (at least the one that is found on channel 99 in most areas) available please.
