The decision to close AJ's Swim School as of the 20th of June 2024 is a significant blow to our community in Algester, QLD and many surrounding suburbs.

This swim school has provided essential swimming education to countless children, teaching them life-saving skills and fostering their love for the water. Closing this establishment not only impacts the students but also affects the dedicated staff who have been instrumental in their development.

My child has been with AJ's for nearly 2 years, and has grown into a confident and capable swimmer with the guidance and support of the amazing instructors. She has also made many friends, and enjoys every lesson. There are many families who have been there for over 5 years with multiple children attending.

We understand that sometimes difficult business decisions need to be made, and while this petition may not change the outcome, we at least wanted to express our great disappointment at the sudden nature of this decision and the lack of communication beforehand.

AJ's Swim School is more than a business, it is a family. Please sign this petition to support the staff and students of AJ's Swim School by urging the new management to reconsider and keep AJ's Swim School open.
