In light of recent events that have threatened not only the safety of specific students but the well-being of the community of color at Keene State College, we demand these changes to be made:

• Required race/gender class for the first-year student OR a "No Zebras" type of presentation.
• Campus-wide initiative (equity and justice).
• Staff and faculty training 
• Racism reporting system (similar to other systems already set at KSC)

Not only will these changes help sow a mentality of acceptance and non-ignorance in the minds of the students that this school takes responsibility for, but we believe that these changes will show marginalized students that this school cares about them, and hopefully encourage more people of color to come to KSC.
