Enforce Wearing Masks on King County Metro Buses

Enforce Wearing Masks on King County Metro Buses
The Issue
The problem with Metro's non-enforcement of the Wear a Mask mandate from Governor Inslee is two fold: The safety of the operator, and the safety of the passengers in the coach.
The operator of the coach is in constant contact with the aerosols of the passengers. Most of this can be prevented if the passengers wore the required mask. Metro's official stance is to not enforce the Governors mandate to wear a mask in public. Instead their official stance is to allow passengers to voluntarily adhere to the law. This is resulting in many passengers defying the law with impunity. Many passengers are flaunting their maskless riding and putting the entire King County community and its surrounding areas in potentially deadly danger.
It's not the job of the driver/operator of the bus. There needs to be a presence on the coach like an ambassador to the riding community reminding people to wear their mask or to hand one out if they do not have one, Get the Sound Transit and Metro Transit police out of their cars and onto the coaches to enforce the requirement of wearing the mask. Transit security can also participate in the enforcement. This can be sporadic and rotational on different routes and at different times.
Also, there needs to be training for operators on how to deal with the pandemic in terms of how to set up the coach and deal with passengers. How many passengers should be in a coach at any one time for social distancing for example? How should you run the climate control system, open windows, hatches, defrosters, etc.?
People need to know that riding public transportation must be done with a mask and the law will be enforced. People need to know that riding a bus or train IS NOT DANGEROUS.
