I am calling upon the Seattle Police Department and their Chief of Police, Kathleen O'Toole to reopen the Curt Kobain case. There has been a gross negligence in regards to the case, and a gross unjustice for Kurt and his family. The media played out Kurt to be some depressed and suicidal person, and that wasn't the case. That is what Courtney Love gave the media to report, and none of it was true or accredited, but the public ran with it. The Seattle Police Department at the time did not conduct a standard protocol death investigation when they entered the greenhouse on April 8th 1994. It is not up to an officer to determine the cause of death without the body having had an autopsy preformed, it is up to the medical examiner to determine the cause of death. At the time of Kurt's death, he had so much heroin in his system he would have been dead or at least unconscious. It would have been physically impossible for Kurt to have pulled the trigger in the position that the the gun was found in, and it was found resting in his left hand upside down. The shell that was discharged from the gun was found to the left of his body, although that would have been impossible for the shell to end up on the left side of his body considering that the shell would have discharged to the right of his body if he actually did shoot the gun upside-down like the police assumed to have happened. Courtney Love painted a picture of Kurt to be a suicidal person with no history of depression or suicide attempts. There's evidence that's his "suicide note" was forged. Courtney did however have a note from Kurt that she kept a secret, it was a note from Kurt saying that he wanted a divorce and he was leaving Seattle...I hope you can see where this is going. Please help me in getting Kurt Cobain's death change from a suicide to a homicide by signing this petition. ALL of the crime scene photos need to be released and examined by forensic examiners, along with the full release of the autopsy report.
