KASHMIR IS BLEEDING
To every human rights defender, humanitarian organization, journalist, and every person who believes that every human life has equal value:
A cry for help is rising from pakistani administered Kashmir.
Reports from the region describe civilians killed, hundreds injured, peaceful protesters met with force, people detained, and families struggling to access medical care. Behind every reported number is human being—a mother, a father, a son, a daughter, a friend—whose life has been forever changed.
When people who seek to express their grievances peacefully , fear violence instead of protection, the world cannot afford to remain indifferent.
We urgently call upon the Government of Pakistan and all security forces to exercise maximum restraint, protect civilians, respect fundamental human rights, and ensure that peaceful assembly and freedom of expression are safeguarded. Every effort must be made to prevent further harm and to resolve grievances through dialogue, justice, and democratic means.
We call upon Kashmiri political leaders, civil society organizations, human rights defenders, lawyers, journalists, humanitarian workers, and the Kashmiri diaspora to stand together in defense of human dignity. This is not a moment for political divisions—it is a moment to protect human lives.
We further urge the international community to support an independent, impartial, and transparent investigation into all credible allegations of excessive use of force and human rights violations. Accountability is essential for justice, and justice is essential for lasting peace.
History reminds us that silence in the face of suffering carries consequences. Every delay in protecting civilians risks more pain, more loss, and deeper wounds for families and communities.
To every human rights defender: your voice matters. Your documentation matters. Your solidarity matters. When people feel forgotten, your advocacy can help ensure they are seen, heard, and protected.
The people of Jammu & Kashmir deserve what every human being deserves: life, dignity, justice, peace, and the full protection of their fundamental rights.
Do not let their voices fade into silence. Stand for humanity. Stand for justice. Stand for peace.
