Whereas our 1st Amendment rights of the free exercise of religion and peaceable assembly have been severely restricted by unconstitutional COVID-19 directives from various city, county and state governments. 

Whereas our 4th Amendment right to protection from unreasonable search and seizure of personal and private property or data are at risk from those same unconstitutional government directives.
 
Whereas many county draft COVID-19 recovery plans could extend the current social distancing and meeting restrictions for months, or even years - further limiting the ability for businesses and churches to stay open. 

I, as a citizen of the State of Kansas and a registered voter, demand that the Kansas State Legislature immediately modify all existing Kansas State recall statutes to safely allow the recall of state and county officials in the context of COVID-19 restrictions found in any county draft or final plan for COVID-19 recovery. In order to protect the people of Kansas and limit the unconstitutional authority exercised by state and local leaders.
