Aside from Brook Pryor, Adam Teicher is the worst sports writer in America. Teicher has been the Chiefs beat writer for ESPN since 2013 his only accomplishment is getting the entire city to hate him.

Over the course of the last eight years, Adam has constantly slammed the team and city. His latest article titled ‘History says the Chiefs will likely lose: Why it’s so hard to repeat as Super Bowl Champs’ is a lazy, horribly written and a perfect example of how terrible of a beat writer he actually is.

He erroneously points out the debunked narrative that the Chiefs won eight straight games by six points or fewer. A ‘statistic’ that wasn’t real until people had to try to find a flaw in this Chiefs team.

Teicher talks about players using the “Run It Back” slogan as a rallying cry in the locker room, despite players like Frank Clark saying that the team doesn’t use that slogan to motivate themselves.

In the article, Teicher also claims that the only key player for the Chiefs over 30 is Travis Kelce, despite three other starters being 30+.

Lastly, Teicher fails to mention that teams are 8-5 in their second consecutive appearance in the Super Bowl, instead focusing on ‘only’ eight teams have repeated in 55 years.

On December 8, 2020, Teicher wrote an article saying that Chiefs head coach Andy Reid had the most at stake for the remaining of the season in the NFL, despite the Chiefs being 11-1 and defending Super Bowl champions. He’s a complete and utter moron and negative Nancy.

Adam Teicher is a horrible sports writer and has an incredible ability to only see the negative with this team and city. He needs to be immediately relieved of his duties as a Chiefs writer and replaced by someone with a championship attitude. We need someone with a fan’s mentality, not someone who will rip the Chiefs at any opportunity, despite them being in the Super Bowl for the second consecutive year.

Good riddance, Alan.
