Autonomous trucks will get rid of hundreds of thousands of jobs in the U.S. Electric Trucks like the Tesla Semi are not going to be a good idea. What happens when you crash? Battery acid goes spewing everywhere. Are they going to be water/mud/snowproof? The battery will way A LOT. If you think a Peterbilt 359 Rolling Coal is pollution. Charging/Production of all these electric trucks will be more harmful then all the old trucks combined.
