The word around the Wing is that they will let us go home early if all of our finals are online. For the majority of the wing, this is the case...with the exception of one class: calculus. For this reason, we have started a petition to let the math professors know what we really think of their confounded in-class assessment policy. Keep in mind that their previous assessments have all been conducted in person--a serious threat to our health and the general health of the USAFA community. Also remember that we are in a worldwide pandemic, and as Major General Michelle C. Edmonson likes to say, we must mitigate the spread! Help prove to Lt. Col Kallemyn and the other course directors that their insistence on taking finals in person is not conducive to our health and well being as cadets. I promise you that no one wants to risk catching COVID from a math final, and I am positive that we can bring about change with enough signatures.
