We welcome the news received today about the filing of 2 more bills on national integrated cancer control. Sen. Sonny Angara filed Senate bill 1570, while Antipolo Representative Cong. Chiqqui Roa-Puno filed House Bill 6280. The filing of these bills is a welcome development and a big step in fighting cancer in our country. We reiterate our support for these bills, and we wish our 2 legislators all the best as they champion the cancer cause in the Philippine Congress and push for the passage of this very important bill into law.
