I started going to the Brandt Crossing Dog Park (5009 33rd Ave S, Fargo, ND 58104) around a year ago. Since coming to this park I have added many friendships to my life and my dogs absolutely love it. The regulars at this park bring toys, water dishes, drinking water, and treats for all the dogs to share. We  are constantly keeping the park clean by piking up after ourselves and others. We pick up all the dog droppings, fill in holes, throw away any garbage, and keep the dogs safe. That being said we have noticed this park lacks running water and a shelter. We would love to add a shelter to help protect the animals as well as the humans from the hot sun, strong winds, and intense North Dakota winter. By signing this petition you are bringing attention to the Park Board that this is not just something we are deserving of, but something that we need. We as a dog park are trying to bring the needs of the humans and animals to the Park Board.
