The session dated December 17, 2021 in Karnataka assembly had a shameful speech, "If rape is inevitable, then the woman should lie down and enjoy". This is shameful and pathetic for an MLA to say and that too in the assembly.
No other person raised a voice against it, everyone rather laughed at it. This in a way has legalised rapes. So many women's lives and statuses are at risk....how can someone even say such lines. Sign this petition to demand strictest action

It’s not ok to laugh it off and it’s definitely not ok to let the elected representative off with a mere apology. We need stricter action to send out a strong message that deters all elected representatives and people in public office.

Sign my petition asking the Speaker of the Karnataka Assembly to expel Congress MLA Ramesh Kumar, and to order him to set up a fund for the rehabilitation of rape survivors.
