I have been a Naperville resident for more than 24 years and have a daughter who is a freshman in high school and a daughter who graduated from the district as well.  

My Professional Experience:

I am the Chief Technology Officer at a Higher Education company where we help universities get students enrolled. I have experience transforming organizations and helping them create a digital footprint.

Reasons why I want to be part of the School Board:

1. I am alarmed by the decline in children graduating high school. The decline rate is between 1-3%. This decline has been occurring since 2013. I would like to change this statistic and help children graduate high school irrespective of race, religion and social background.
2. My son has hearing aids and is a special needs student. We have to focus on students with special needs and move them through the education system and into the workforce successfully.
 

Here’s how I can help:

1. Helping students in high school prepare for the workforce, now that universities are exploring micro learning. With my digital transformation background, I can help create a vision and move them towards a positive digital footprint.
2. Focus on leveraging technology and process improvements in our schools.
3. Improve communication among our communities.
