I am a mum of 3 - 2 girls and a boy. I try to buy shorts for my daughters and a vast majority of them barely cover their knickers. The legs are only a couple of inches long if that. The crotch width is similar to that of underpants. The big chain department stores offer a token pair of modest shorts for girls yet the bulk of them are overly exposing our girl children. As a mum I would like to see my girls be able to wear an assortment of mid length shorts - similar to those which are available for my son. Please stop exposing our daughters. I know I'm not alone in this. If I search girls shorts on the Kmart site - 85 listings come up. 1 pair are longer cut - the denim Bermuda for $12.
