As most should know there was a large layoff in our school district 
With that being said 
I have a student in highschool and I was NEVER impressed by my child’s art work or art shows but I figured it was just my kid not being an arti

Well, I had the honor of seeing the art exhibit of my kindergartner and WOW this teacher inspired and created great artists!!! I was in awe with EVERY child’s art piece She gave these kids the guidance and teaching of great art and I was not the only parent to be proud of her as a teacher of our children!!! I thought art was a skill only some have but I was wrong bc this teacher put in so much talent into each individual and it breaks my heart to think she will no longer be able to inspire and teach these students the fundamentals of art in our district…. Rumor has it that she appealed the boards decision not to keep her and I hope they do the right thing by our children and choose to keep a teacher that our children can not only learn from but also connect with bc their beautiful art is not something our children should miss out on!!!! Keep in mind this is lower elementary and yet some of the best art I’ve seen come from this program!!! 
Pictured is JoJo proud Artist and I know he will be devastated to lose such an inspiring dedicated teacher 
If I stay quiet these kids lose out even though I’m starting to really lose faith in this school district to do what’s best for our children
