Hi my name is Cassie, I am 20 years old. I have 2 little sisters ages 8 and 11 who are currently in the custody of the State of Ohio. I have spent the last 2 weeks trying to get them placed in my home as a kinship placement. I have proved myself to be a more than capable caregiver for these girls. I passed my home study and background check. I have everything in my home that they would need. I am a licensed EMT in the state of Ohio. I have a three bedroom home and a full time job to support them. These girls have expressed their want to live in my home multiple times and CPS is not taking any of it seriously. 

If the girls were placed in my home, I would plan to have them in therapy right away. They would learn the life skills to become strong independent young women. They have their own rooms and would be physically and emotionally provided for. They need and want structure, nurture, guidance. and someone who can love and care for them consistently. I have been the only one ever to provide any of their basic needs for them. Family should have been considered first and I know that I can give them the life they deserve.
