Canada, long the creator of the greatest dessert in the world, should name this sweet morsel, the Butter Tart, the official dessert of Canada.  It is enjoyed from coast to coast to coast.  If our neighbours are, "American as Apple Pie" then we must be as "Canadian as a Butter Tart!"  The French may eat cake and the Brits may have Puddings but we have the mighty Butter Tart.
