While Federal and Provincial agencies are focusing on brining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including masks to Canadian hospitals - who is focusing on homecare, supply chain personnel in private companies, essential retail services, as well as police, firefighters and other essential personnel? Given evolving direction on use of masks we can't leave these people without protection or ask them to use home-made ones.  We need to establish quickly a "civilian" standard of masks and initiate massive procurement of these products including from China, where such standards and supply exist. These masks would not compete with hospital supply and would protect those who are in most danger of contagion by virtue of their jobs.
