The time has come to end daylight savings time. Originally adopted in 1908 for war time efforts. It has long outworn its usefulness. Both Saskatchewan and British Columbia have ended this practice. Statistics show this change increases pedestrian accidents by 30 percent, as well as a significant increase in car accidents, heart attacks, strokes, and workplace injuries, as well as weight gain and mental health issues. Thus making Day light Savings Time an extremely costly practice for the government to continue, both Nationally and to each company and individual. Daylight savings time has long outworn its usefullness and the data is very clear that it is extremely costly and damaging to health, property and government budgets. Please end Daylight savings time now.
