Another week has gone by and the people who are on the CPP Disability program have been forgotten again.

As you may not be aware, this program is full of people under the age of 65 who must follow strict guidleines of what the govt.deems as unable to work or imminent death.

To acheive this benefit is a long and financially draining process with many medical opinions and a board determining your acceptance. Their is no false people looking for a free ride.

The base income for this program is 505.79 and then a percentage of what you put into the program before you were unable to work due to health. 
This program does not include any medical or dental relief. This amount is already below the poverty line.

 ODSP, OW, OAS and GAIN's will all receive a increase to help with the additional costs of COVID; those on CPPD have been forgotten.

As disabled transit has been halted due to Covid, transportation is usually a Uber as most are immune compromised or unable to manage a bus or train.

As someone who is on many prescriptions I now have to fill my prescriptions monthly. Larger dispensing costs out of a already tight budget.

Food has almost doubled for safe availabilty.

Yet CPP disability has not been touched.

We are the forgotten ones under 65. 

Please consider helping me to heard. So many others are in a worse situation then me.

We deserve a hand up as well, keep in mind we all paid into CPP we are only asking for a service we paid for.
