The wildfire situation in BC is dire and many communities are either evacuated or on alert status. The BC Wildfire Services and its many partners are doing their very best, but, what is lacking is massive water bombers that we simply do not have or are not available. Remember a few years ago when fire tore through Fort McMurray and the Russian Emergency Services offered help ? That help was promptly rejected for nothing more than politics. The Russians have massive water bombers and they help other countries every year all around the world! The fires in BC are much worse than Fort McMurray and the BC Wildfire Service needs whatever help is available!
