This should have been done months ago. It's already too late for our neighbor the USA, as they now have the most cases of COVID-19 worldwide. Italy, China, South Korea and Japan have had too too many deaths to count. I don't want the same thing to happen to us- it is time to take immediate and DRASTIC action. 

It's time for Canada to follow suit of countries like India and take effective and innovative measures to keep our citizens protected. There has now been a mandated quarantine period of 14 days for all returning travelers to Canada, and for people who have tested positive for the virus. It's extremely difficult to keep track of these individuals. A, effective way to keep track and keep our people safe is to add the names of all individuals who have entered from another country in the previous two weeks and all people who have tested positive for COVID-19 to a public online database that is accessible to all. 

With this measure in place, it is becomes easier to enforce quarantine laws on those who are a danger to public health. By having access to the names and pictures of those who are a potential risk, it becomes easier to report those individuals and thus protect the health of all Canadians. 

This ensures that healthy citizens can take all necessary steps to keep themselves, their families and their communities safe. 

We already know that a first wave is inevitable. We only have a matter of days to flatten the curve before have an Italy situation. I don't want our country to fall prey to the novel coronavirus like so many others have.
