I just read about a young man who was Wrongfully Convicted and had his Conviction overturned. This is what we are all hoping will happen for Kerry Baxter Senior. It is unconscionable to knowingly falsely convict someone of a crime but this is exactly what happened. Some DA's get away with it because there is no oversight from at the County level or the State. 

There should be reviews of all cases involving incompetent DA's when a Wrongful Conviction is proven. It is no accident that many who are languishing in prisons are black and brown men and women. In Kerry Baxter Seniors case he was thrown in Prison with the DA Police knowing that of his innocent but they focused on him because there was an informant involved who was needed on the streets of Oakland. It is more common then we want to believe.
