During Kerry Seniors trial the courts allowed Oakland Police Sgt., Brian Madeira to perjure himself. He lied and stated that Kerry Senior was not employed when he had questioned his employers including those Kerry had worked with. He went to the Carpenter's Union and spoke to them and spoke to his Co-workers from a previous position. Yet he lied in court and said that Kerry Senior was unemployed and that was only one lie. The other lie was that Kerry Junior had threatened his girlfriend and that is why she did not testify against him. That was a lie and the courts knew that his girlfriend had nothing to add and had been harassed by Brian Madeira.

Madeira told her if she did not testify she would lose her job and he would see that her children went into foster care. Not only did he want her to testify he wanted her to say what He told her to say. It is supposed to be inadmissible to testify that someone who was not present made a statement, but the courts allowed that testimony. It still took the jury 10 days to find Kerry Senior guilty after they asked the Judge if they should believe the Officers testimony over the accused. The Judge said that the officers testimony carried more weight than the defendants. That judge knew that Jahmani Jones who was paid to testify against Kerry Senior and Sgt, Bryan Madeira both perjured themselves. 

This was the same judge who oversaw the Riders Trial in which Oakland Police were accused of beating young black men! The trial ended in a Hung Jury thanks to the incompetence of the judge and unwillingness of the DA to hold them accountable. 

It is time for Kerry Baxter senior who is now 56 years old to Come Home! Wrongful Convictions and Disparate Prison Sentences are Slavery!!!
