I am reaching out in desperation as the mother of Marcos, my 7-year-old son who has been missing for over a year.

Marcos was taken by his father during what was supposed to be a short visit in Mexico. He never returned, and despite a missing child case being opened inTulare County, California, my son is still not home. His father is listed as a suspect for child abduction — but he is not acting alone.

I have strong reason to believe his father’s girlfriend, is also involved. She is a U.S. citizen who travels back and forth to Mexico, and continues to mislead authorities about her involvement. Yet she has not been named as a suspect.

My son is still missing. He is just a little boy who deserves to be safe, loved, and home with his mother.

I have started this petition to demand stronger action from authorities, including investigating the girlfriend and working with Mexican officials to bring Marcos home. I am sharing this petition with you because I need help raising awareness.

Please, help me tell Marcos’s story. Every day that passes without action is another day my son is kept from his home and family.
