Subject: Seeking Justice for Zubeen Garg – A Voice of Assam and the People

Respected Sir/Madam,

We, the undersigned citizens, admirers, and well-wishers of Assam’s beloved artist Zubeen Garg, write this petition with deep concern regarding the injustice, harassment, and unfair treatment faced by him in recent times.

Zubeen Garg is not only an artist but also an icon of Assamese identity and culture, who has devoted his life to promoting the music, traditions, and unity of our region. His songs and social contributions have uplifted countless lives and brought Assam pride on the global stage.

However, it is disheartening to see that instead of being respected for his contributions, he has been subjected to unnecessary pressure, mental harassment, and attempts to suppress his freedom of speech and artistic expression. Such treatment towards a cultural icon is not only unjust but also an insult to the people of Assam who hold him in the highest regard.

Therefore, through this petition, we demand:

1. Immediate intervention from the concerned authorities to ensure justice and protection for Zubeen Garg.

2. An impartial investigation into the incidents of harassment and unfair treatment directed towards him.

3. Guarantee of his safety, dignity, and artistic freedom so that he can continue to inspire millions without fear.

4. Recognition of his invaluable contributions towards Assam’s cultural and social identity.

We firmly believe that justice for Zubeen is justice for the people of Assam. His voice is our collective voice, and his dignity is tied to the dignity of our land.

We appeal to the Hon’ble Government, law enforcement agencies, and human rights bodies to take urgent and appropriate action to uphold justice.

Justice for Zubeen. Justice for Assam.
