I have been waiting for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador to give me answers to whether my sexual harasser, while employed with The Department of Justice-Government of Newfoundland and Labrador was ever questioned or reprimanded when I came forward. I am also seeking answers as to why they kept access to my private home communications account long after my retirement. 

Many people/employees use EAP and other forms of mental healthcare to cope with how they are ignored when coming forward, and too much taxpayer funds are wasted, when they are still not heard, while abusers are being protected. 

If we don’t speak up about what is happening, we cannot help change the way we’re treated, or the waste of taxpayer funding. Transparency, awareness, and accountability will be the change without having to fear retaliation.
