Justice for TreMayne Bass
Hello, we are Donntrisa Jones and Roosevelt Bass. We've launched this petition to gather support in our ongoing battle for justice for our son, who tragically fell victim to gun violence. Despite the circumstances, his offender wasn't adequately charged and we are determined to ensure proper accountability.
We are seeking upgraded and additional charges against the offender for the possession of a firearm and the murder of a minor. Furthermore, we request that charges be brought against his parents for their negligence in allowing their child access to their firearm.
The tragic loss of TreMayne Bass due to this individual’s actions demands justice. Not only should he be held accountable for his direct involvement in this heinous crime, but his parents must also face consequences for their failure to prevent their child from accessing a deadly weapon.
TreMayne was a gentle giant. He was loved by so many. He was a hard worker and an amazing big brother. At the age of 16, he held two jobs and maintained school. He was a youth worker at his church and also employed at Mc Donald’s. TreMayne was on track to graduate May 2, 2024 from EnRich through Richland Community College, but due to the circumstances he won’t be able to attend his graduation ceremony on May 28th. He was an active big brother and loved all of his siblings. Most of all, Tremayne was a loving son, determined to help his mother raise and provide for his siblings.
We want to ensure that justice is served for TreMayne Bass and his family by pursuing all applicable charges against the offender and his parents. Allowing this individual to walk away freely would not only dishonor the memory of the victim but, also endanger the safety of our community.
Sincerely,
Donntrisa Jones
