I've seen a lot in my time. Honest folks lying, strong ones crying, and everything in between. But one thing's clear—the United States family court system often falls short of delivering justice, especially when it comes to fair treatment of parents. It's time we address the systemic bias that so many have experienced when dealing with family courts.

Too often, decisions are skewed based on preconceived notions or loyalty to one side, rather than being rooted in the best interests of children or equality between parents. We've seen cases where enablers cover for abuse when it's their own kin, only to turn things upside down if the roles were reversed. This kind of imbalance and lack of transparency can leave good parents fighting an uphill battle, with their words falling on deaf ears.

It's heartbreaking to witness parents who are genuinely trying to do their best for their kids end up losing precious time and resources, simply because the system is rigged against them. We need a reformed system that ensures all voices are heard and judged fairly, where decisions are made based on facts and not biases. A family court should be a place of justice, not a battleground for power plays and manipulation.

By reforming our family court system, we can provide a foundation of fairness and equality. This means implementing policies that ensure unbiased evaluations, holding enablers accountable (such as, but not limited to, perjury) and providing transparent procedures/jury trials that prioritize the health and wellbeing of children and parents equally. This is a fight for all alienated parents - all fathers and mothers - but most of all, for the real victims which are the children.

The foundation of our mental health when we mature into adulthood is, most often, a direct reflection of the dynamics of a place we are supposed to feel the most safe with our protectors. Family court has proven to perpetuate unnecessary trauma to victims everyday. We need more exposure, transparency and accountability.
