This petition is bringing awareness and justice to the Flick Family. Andria (11), Barb (34) and Dave Flick (36) were murdered 27 years ago. 

On October 8, 1995 Andria, Barb and Dave Flick were brutally murdered by their son/brother Aaron Hodge (Flick). Aaron left their bodies inside the home to decompose for almost a week while he parted in the garage apartment. That week he was telling people that "this is the greatest week of my life". 

Prior to the murders, there was tension building in the house and the family was concerned. Knives had been hidden, the gas stove was manipulated to where gas could not be let out and Barb and Dave were forced to change Andria's bedroom doorknob toa lock and key because Aaron was breaking in and stealing her allowance money.

These were just some of the things the family had started having to do to protect themselves against Aaron. Sadly, their efforts were in vain because they were shot to death in October of 1995. Aaron was arrested on October 14, 1995. The following year he was convicted of the murders of his mother, stepfather and half-sister. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. 

In 2012 the United Stated Federal Government made a ruling that said minors who were given a sentence of LWOP could be eligible for a resentencing hearing. Aason was given a resentencing hearing on December 6-9, 2022. A jury of eight women and four men decided Aason should be released from prison in three years. Basically, only serving 10 years/murder victim making his prison stay only a total of 30 years.

In the 27 years he has been incarcerated he currently has 79 charges against him...most of the violent. The resentencing hearing turned into a minitrial with Aason being able to introduce new evidence and spew lies and hatred on the stand. All the while, us, the victims, were told to either stick with what was said in the original trial or have out victim impact statements HEAVILY edited. 

Aaron has openly admitted he has NO remorse for the situation and has no problem going up against anyone who he feels is against him. Aaron only knows two placed-Rector, AR and prison. He stated he plans to go back to the only other place he knows outside of his prison cell.

The people of Rector, AR and us, the victims, who were called to re-testify and/or to read victims impact statements are all potentially in danger of his wrath once he is released.

We ask all reading this to contact your local congressman and and representative and tell them how dangerous Aaron Michael Hodge is, and how his release from prison is not the best interest of the general public.
