The Issue

On December 9, 2022, a troubling incident occurred in Platteville, Wisconsin. Ronald Henry, an African American man, came to this quiet town to work on a friend's farm.

Only a few days later, Ronald would be reported missing to the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

The mysterious nature of his disappearance remained unresolved for almost eight agonizing months, until Ronald's remains were discovered a mere mile from his last known location.

Throughout this period, the investigation led by the Grant County Sheriff's Department left countless questions unanswered.

The fact remains: Ronald was an African American in a predominantly white community. Yet, we don't aim to cast insinuations, rather our objective is to find the truth and ensure justice for Ronald Henry.

While we appreciate the efforts of local law enforcement, his case requires additional scrutiny. We firmly believe that a thorough and comprehensive investigation led by the Wisconsin Attorney General's office can offer a new perspective and possibly uncover overlooked facts.

This petition implores the Wisconsin Attorney General to intervene. By carrying out an extensive investigation, we can shed light on Ronald's untimely death and provide answers to his grieving family and concerned community. We cannot allow Ronald's death to become another unsolved case.

Through our collective voices, we can reinforce the fundamental principle of justice. It's crucial that those who have committed this heinous act do not go unpunished.

End the silence. Unmask the truth. Seek justice for Ronald Henry. Please, sign and share this petition, your contribution can make a difference.
