On August 12, 2018 Ramya and her friends lives changed forever. Her rights were stripped from her from the time she was admitted into the hospital. She was “interviewed” by highway patrol while under medication due to injuries while being in ICU while she was alone. She was accused of driving under the influence before the toxicology report was ran and the media put out false storylines to defame her name. Her license was never revoked nor suspended. Alcohol/drugs/Speeding did not play a factor in this accident, the case was based off of emotions and accusations. Yes we understand lives were lost and we sympathize with that however, Ramya has suffered immensely from her injuries as well as mentally, and emotionally. There’s never a day that goes by that Ramya doesn’t feel remorse or show emotion. Now she’s been unfairly sentenced and we’re going to continue to fight for justice based off of facts not accusations.
