Justice for Poolin Victims: We Demand Accountability and Restitution

The Issue

Poolin was one of the largest Bitcoin mining pools in the world. Thousands of miners and users trusted it to manage their Bitcoin earnings — until one day, without warning, withdrawals were frozen. Access was cut off. Communications stopped.

No detailed explanation was given. No formal shutdown process. No path to recover lost Bitcoin.

For many, this wasn’t just a technical issue or a misstep — it was the loss of hard-earned income, long-term mining rewards, and personal savings. While Poolin was based in China, they actively engaged global users, including many in the United States. They marketed their products and services across borders, attempting to position themselves as a legitimate international business.

And now, despite locking up user funds, Poolin has reportedly made efforts to rebrand and re-enter the U.S. market.

This is unacceptable.

We cannot allow companies that mismanaged or froze user funds without explanation to quietly re-enter the industry and target new customers, especially in jurisdictions like the U.S., where victims still await answers.

What We're Asking For:

  • A formal investigation into Poolin’s handling of user funds
  • Legal pressure for transparency and potential restitution
  • Regulatory attention toward any ongoing or future attempts to operate in the U.S.
  • Support and solidarity from the global Bitcoin community

This is about more than lost Bitcoin. It’s about trust, accountability, and setting a precedent.

If Poolin is allowed to quietly re-establish itself in other jurisdictions without consequences, what message does that send to other custodial platforms?

This petition is the first step in organizing victims, pressuring regulators, and making sure this story doesn’t disappear. We deserve transparency. We deserve answers. And we deserve action.

If you were impacted by Poolin — or if you believe in protecting users and setting higher standards in this space — add your name below.

Let’s make sure this isn’t forgotten. Not here. Not in the U.S. Not anywhere.
