Judge Wynne is allowing the father to violate the court order. That is a felony and he should be held accountable! He is withholding Phoebe from my sister when there is a court order in place! He is blatantly disobeying the judge’s order as if he is above the law! Please continue to share and sign this petition! We need justice and Phoebe needs her mother!

Our family is in crisis. My sister, a loving mother who has been battling severe postpartum, is being kept away from her daughter Phoebe, by an unjust system. The orchestrator of this heartbreak? Judge Lindsey Wynne of Collin County. She is using her power and control to keep my sister and our family from seeing Phoebe. There also seems to be a conflict of interest between the judge and the attorney that represents my sisters ex husband.

Phoebe has been taken away from the people she is familiar with and the Judge has placed my niece in an unfamiliar environment with unfamiliar people. 

Phoebe is my sisters first child. Phoebe is also the first grandchild, first niece, first everything in our family. We have not even been able to see or bond with her in months. This is devastating to us. My sister had a high risk pregnancy and she lost a lot of blood during her delivery. So having a baby and post partum really took a toll on her mentally. Thankfully, my sister is doing so much better now! Now all she needs is her baby back! The baby she carried for 9 months in her womb!

Judge Wynne has sided with the father (Caucasian) who called Child Protective Services on my sister despite her never ever causing harm or neglect to my niece. The CPS case worker (Caucasian) intimidated my sister into signing a “family plan” that my sister did not agree with, but she was willing to do anything to be with her child. This “family plan” consisted of my sister being “supervised” while with her child, however the only people allowed to supervise was her ex-husbands side of the family. My family did not agree with that!! It wasn’t fair! CPS then reevaluated the family plan and allowed our side of the family to supervise. My sisters ex husband did not like that and he did not let us get Phoebe after the meeting with CPS, he completely violated the safety plan and got away with it, no repercussions. In order to gain more control, he then filed a restraining order against my sister to keep her away from Phoebe! With no cause. CPS has since closed the case and had no findings. My sister has not seen her baby in over 2 months! Phoebe is now almost 5 months old and NEEDS her mother! This man's actions are controlling and manipulative; he will stop at nothing to keep my sister and our family away from my niece. He has pretty much kidnapped his own daughter! He is clearly not concerned about putting his own child through this trauma. He is only being spiteful and concerned about his own feelings. My niece is living in filth and an unhealthy environment with people who have criminal backgrounds, her health is now a MAJOR concern, she has rashes, infections, and she looks bloated (as if she is being over fed due to the fathers side of the family stuffing bottles in her mouth to stop her from crying because she is longing for her mother’s touch). Judge Lindsey Wynne is allowing all of this! She does not truly care about the well being of my niece, she is unfair and has taken this case personal and she does not have Phoebe’s best interest at heart! My niece is going through so much trauma right now and no one seems to care about that. 

This isn't just about our family – it's about every family that Judge Wynne presides over. There are concerns that she may be biased in her rulings due to racial prejudice. This cannot stand in our justice system. Collin County should be ashamed! This is heartless!

In Texas alone, 1 out of 5 women experience postpartum depression (source: Texas Department of State Health Services). These mothers need support and understanding - not punishment or separation from their children.

We demand an investigation into Judge Lindsey Wynne's conduct and bias in this case. She does not truly care about Phoebe’s wellbeing. She does not follow family law and she is treating my sister and our family like criminals. We also call for greater awareness and understanding within the judicial system regarding these issues that affect so many mothers.
