Peru is currently going through one of it’s darkest moments. Protests have risen after the impeachment of President Martin Vizcarra. Dozens have been killed and the police is attacking protesters with tear gas and bullets. With this petition we hope to reach out to the Peruvian Government with a demand for democracy, the head of the Peruvian police, Orlando Velasco Mujica, to call an end to the violent action taken by the police, and we hope to reach it’s people to keep them safe.

-masks and goggles help

-avoid moisturizing your skin as it traps chemicals

Bring water
First aid
Record and document everything
Ladies: pls wear pads so you don’t come into danger of not being able to remove tampons

Perú atraviesa actualmente uno de sus momentos más oscuros. Las protestas han aumentado tras el juicio político del presidente Martín Vizcarra. Decenas de personas han muerto y la policía ataca a los manifestantes con gases lacrimógenos y balas. Con esta petición esperamos acercarnos al Gobierno peruano con un reclamo de democracia, al jefe de la policía peruana, Orlando Velasco Mujica, para que llame fin a la acción violenta de la policía, y esperamos llegar a su pueblo para mantenerlos a salvo.

 

Consejos para manifestantes

 

Contra los gases lacrimógenos:

-lleva ropa larga

-máscaras y gafas ayudanl

-Evite hidratar su piel ya que atrapa los químicos

 

Ayudate a ti mismo y a los demás:

- Trae agua

- Primeros auxilios

- Graba y documenta todo

- Señoras: por favor, use toallas sanitarias para no correr el peligro de no poder quitarse los tampones.
