Justice for nxtwave CCBP Students
The Issue
I want to talk about some issues I've experienced with job eligibility criteria and the course iam taking. Firstly, even after applying for jobs, some of us are not getting test links to write assessments. This means that we're not being given a fair chance to prove our skills and get the job we're applying for.
The promise of minimum salary is not being upheld as they are offering positions with salaries far lower than what was initially agreed upon, such as 2.4 LPA or 10k to 15k per month, which is significantly lower than the promised range of 4.5-12 LPA. This is concerning for students who have invested time and money into the course with the expectation of a certain level of job opportunities and compensation.
It would be better to write a single IDP exam and attend company interviews rather than writing additional assessments for each company. The coding practices and assignments for IDP scores are important indicators of a candidate's skills and abilities, and those who paused their course to clear IDP should not be discouraged. Even though there is an update that IDP is not a barrier, it is still a valuable achievement for those who have cleared it.
Additionally, the course provider is keeping mock interviews as eligibility criteria, but not giving slots for students. This is a waste of our time and effort. Also, they're now keeping barriers in job eligibility based on location, which is unfair to those who don't live in the specified area.
On top of all this, I'm disappointed to find out that there is no MongoDB in the course even though it's part of the MERN stack that we paid for. This feels like cheating. Half of the React classes are also not available in Telugu as promised.
Moreover, the help section for clearing doubts is one of the worst I've experienced. There is no interaction with mentors, and many students have doubts that are only responded to after 1-2 days, which can cause a loss of interest. It's better to Google search for help than to rely on the course's support system.
I hope that these issues will be addressed soon so that we can have a fair chance to get the jobs we deserve and learn the skills we paid for.
It's important to take action now because the longer these issues persist, the more people will be affected. People are missing out on job opportunities and wasting their time and effort on eligibility criteria that don't even give them a fair chance. The course provider's lack of response to students' concerns is causing a loss of interest and discouragement. If we don't speak up now, these issues will continue to impact people's lives and their future job prospects. Therefore, it's crucial to address these issues promptly and ensure that everyone has a fair chance to get the jobs they deserve and learn the skills they paid for
