Dear Supporters, 

I am writing to you today with an update on the case of Lindsey Chapman, who was scheduled to face trial on August 9th for her blatant lies to the authorities investigating Murph’s murder.

As you know, Ms. Chapman was charged with two misdemeanor offenses by the VBPD: one for obstruction of justice and another for accessory after the fact. On Thursday, we were notified by the Virginia Beach Commonwealth Attorney’s office of their decision to drop these charges.

While we are disappointed in any delays that impede upon our immediate desire to see both of these defendants off the streets, on the stand, and then never again, we understand and support any decision made in the interest of justice.

As always, we will stay in this fight until it’s right, however long it takes. Thank you so much for your continued support and solidarity as we pursue Justice for Murph. Please still share this petition as we must remain steadfast in our demand that BOTH defendants be held accountable for their callous and calculated crimes.
