One year ago, Stephen Tyler Murphy was brutally murdered. He was an organ donor, and his organs saved the lives of six other people. Over the past year, His communities have honored him in many ways, including a corn hole tournament, dedication ceremonies at his former military base and alma mater, and a CrossFit WOD (workout of the day) named after him.

Murph's legacy is one of inspiration. He made lifelong friends everywhere he went, and his motto, "1% Better Every Day," is an inspiration to us all. His death was a tragedy, but his life and legacy will continue to inspire us to be better people.

We will not let Murph's killers go unpunished. We will keep fighting until they are BOTH held accountable for their crimes. We will not be dismayed by their refusal to do the right thing, and we will not quit because we are discouraged. The inspiration of Murph's legacy is within us all, and his willingness to give his all throughout his life is the answer to why we must keep fighting.

Lindsey Chapman is still only facing two misdemeanor accessory charges. Her trial is scheduled for August 9, 2023. The state is aware of our demands for equal accountability. We must not waiver. Please keep sharing the petition and Murph's story. We will not let the bitter end taint Murph's untarnished legacy.

Thank you all for your continued support,
