Justice for Maurice Williams. Demand Officer Camacho Be Fired & Charged for Beating Teen.

Justice for Maurice Williams. Demand Officer Camacho Be Fired & Charged for Beating Teen.
The Issue
A police officer punched a 16-year-old boy in the head seven times while he was pinned to the ground. She has been reassigned. That is not accountability.
On May 20, Officer Bianca Camacho of the Fairfield Police Department responded to a reported fight at Fairfield High School. Video shows her seizing Maurice Williams, throwing him to the ground, and punching him in the head at least seven times while shouting profanities. A campus monitor who was present said it was a verbal dispute between two students — not a fight. Maurice suffered headaches and dizzy spells afterward.
The Fairfield Police Department called the punches "distraction strikes." The police chief apologized on social media and announced an independent investigation — without naming the investigating body or providing a timeline.
Maurice Williams is 16 years old. He was on his high school campus. He was pinned to the ground when he was struck. A substitute resource officer escalated a verbal dispute into a beating that was captured on video and watched by his classmates.
A reassignment and a social media apology are not justice. Officer Camacho must be fired and referred for criminal charges. The people responsible for putting an unprepared officer in that school that day must also answer for what happened.
Sign this petition to demand the Fairfield Police Department terminate Officer Bianca Camacho and refer her conduct for criminal review.
