Justice for Manisha - Don't let her voice fade

Justice for Manisha - Don't let her voice fade
The Issue
A young Manisha was just 19 years old playschool teacher from Dhani Laxman village in Bhiwani, Haryana. She was full of dreams, preparing for her nursing admission, and building a future through education.
But on 11th August 2025, Manisha went missing. Two days later, her body was found near a canal in Singhani village. Her throat had been slit. She was not just murdered her dreams, her dignity, and her future were stolen.
~Who is impacted?
•Her family: who sent their daughter to study, but got her lifeless body back.
•Her students: little children who will never again see their beloved teacher.
•Her community: shocked, fearful, and demanding justice.
•All women and students: Because what happened to her today could happen to anyone .
~ Why this matters -
Manisha's case is not just about one girl. It is about the safety and dignity of every daughter, every sister, every student in our country. Too often, such cases make headlines for 2-3 days and then fade away. Justice delayed is justice denied.
~What we demand
We call upon the Haryana government and local authorities to:
1. Immediately arrest all culprits involved in Manisha's murder.
2. Conduct a fast-track trial so that justice is swift and visible.
3. Strengthen women's safety and security, especially for students and young woOur pledge
As students and young citizens, we refuse to stay silent. Manisha's voice was silenced, but ours will not be. This petition is not just for her - it is for the future of every girl in this country.
